How To Unlock the LG G3 Bootloader with Bump!

It is finally here… You can now unlock the LG G3 bootloader! This method is called Bump made by a bunch of guys over at XDA. You will need to be rooted!!! You can follow my tutorial video HERE. Once rooted you can then unlock the bootloader and install TWRP recovery.

This will void your warranty.  I am not responsible for any damage done to your device.

Bump! File (DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT ONE)

Commands to type in:

adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
dd if=/sdcard/twrp-2.8.0.0_CHANGEME-signed.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery

D850 – AT&T LG G3
D855 – Europe LG G3
F400 – Unlocked LG G3
LS990 – Sprint LG G3
VS985 – Verizon LG G3
D852 – Canada
D852g – Not sure
