How to Root Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Here is the easiest and quickest method to root the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Shoutout to the developer of this root exploit Chainfire for his amazing work. This does trip Knox and I’m sure more devices will be available soon. I will keep everyone updated along with if a new method that doesn’t trip Knox comes along.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong, do this at your own risk. Knox will be tripped so your warranty with Samsung will most likely end. Make sure you do NOT have KNOX enabled under security settings before rooting.

UPDATE!!!: If battery life is worse after rooting, follow these steps.
1. Power off phone. 2. Press and hold vol up, home button, and power button for about 5 seconds. 3. It will say something about an update, wait about 20 seconds for it to boot into stock recovery. 4. Use vol buttons to navigate and power to select “wipe cache partition” 5. Reboot, DONE. 6. No data is going to be wiped.
