Install Android M Launcher on Android KitKat and Lollipop

Looking to get a taste of Android M before it comes to your device? If you have an Android phone running Android 4.4 KitKat and above (including Lollipop) then you are in luck! You are able to install the Google search velvet apk file below with the Google Now launcher already installed from the play store and you will have the vertical app drawer! You will also have the vertical widget selector as well.

Install Android M Launcher on Android KitKat and Lollipop:

Google Search Velvet APK: DOWNLOAD
Android M Wallpaper: DOWNLOAD

To Uninstall the Vertical app drawer in the Google Now Launcher:

Option 1 (might not work): Go to settings, apps and FIRST deinstall Google Now Launcher, now go to Google (Search) and press: deinstall updates
Option 2: Download a root browser, open it and activate root access. Now go to /system/app/velvet and remove the whole velvet folder, then reboot your phone and download the google app again from Play Store.
This will maybe not work on devices running vanilla STOCK firmware with GNL preinstalled (like Nexus or Motorola devices!), with these devices you will have to do a factory reset!
Option 3:
 Factory reset
