HELP. I rooted sprint S5 and got the green PASS box and success 1 failed 0 message but when phone started to reboot got this message:
    recovery booting (in blue)
recovery is not seandroid enforcing (in red)
set warranty bit: recovery (in yellow)

I’ve tried to reboot in recovery mode and restart phone in download mode but always get this screen. I’ve used these videos to root S3 and S4 flawlessly. I don’t understand what happened and frankly, I’m a little stressed. I’ve googled for solutions but everything seems to be related to Samsung note….

I use my phone as a hotspot. I want to update to lollipop but don’t want to lose that function. Can I unroot safely, update, and then re-root and my Wi-Fi hotspot still work?

  14. Joseph L. Mueller says:

I need help with rooting a lollipop 5.0 on Samsung Galaxy S5 O6A. Please help, I’ve been searching for over a month and can’t seem to find any solid processes. Thank you!

If you are having a problem rooting your samsung galaxy s5 try one click rooting is absolutely will work running lollipop. Well worth the $39 to have your phone rooted without any frustration. I tried the one click rooting it would not work on my phone with just one click however they did root my phone remotely within minutes after trying the one click application. They will root your phone with or without the one click application guaranteed. Well worth the $39 less the frustration rooting the s5 hope this helps.

P.S…. they left all applications to root the s5 in their work directory. So if I decide to unroot this phone I will be able to root it myself again because they left all their work material behind.

Just a note, regarding the error with Odin and the USB 3.0. It does not work with the 3.0 cable and a 2.0 port. I thought it might since when you use the 3.0 cable with a 2.0 port it uses the capability of the port. I got the same error. Now to try it with 2.0 cable and 2.0 port 🙂

    recovery booting (in blue)
recovery is not seandroid enforcing (in red)
set warranty bit: recovery (in yellow)

    • Oops says:

I was able to go back to stock (took out battery to get out of error).
I tried to root again using the 2.0 cable and 2.0 port and I got the same error. Any suggestions???

Worked For me with stock cable connected to USB 2 port. I had a bit of trouble getting Odin to recognize the phone but after trying a few different ports it worked fine. Also worth noting that The “PDA” box in Odin is now AP

I am having the exact same problem. I followed his directions exactly. My phone did what his did on the screen. I thought I had finally succeeded, but it is not rooted, and I don’t have the Super User app.

      • Vatsal Patel says:

My device was getting hanged at S5 loading screen (that is what I thought initially) after which I used to remove the battery and reinsert it to restart device. Upon which SU was missing.

Later I tried to wait at the loading screen. I took 11 long minutes after which it booted with the SU installed.
I think “patience” is the key here 🙂

    • Wendy Taylor Griffith says:

Vatsal Patel, did you figure out a solution???
