Is This the New HTC One M9?
Over the past week, leaked pictures of the rumored HTC One M9 have started to surface on the internet. The HTC One M9, which also carries the code name “Hima”, has been rumored to be officially announced in March at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Of course, what’s a popular flagship release without months of leaked coverage, right? Below are two images (courtesy of Phandroid.com) of what could be the followup to last years very successful HTC One M8.
The first thing I noticed from these pictures is how thin the device appears to be. I am not sure if it’s just the angle of the photo, but the side of the device looks to fit the volume and power buttons barely. Speaking of the power button, HTC has followed suit with other OEM’s and moved the power button from the top to the side. This design concept is usually popular among larger phones although it seems unclear if the phone is a “phablet” or not.
Other rumored specifications include a Snapdragon 810 processor, a 2840mAh battery, and a 20.7 Megapixel rear facing camera. The upgrade to the camera would be significant compared to last years 4MP ultrapixel camera. On the software side, the M9 will reportedly ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop and a new version of HTC Sense, HTC Sense 7.0.
What do you guys think of the rumored new flagship from HTC?
