LG G4 Carbon Fiber Slickwraps Edition

By now, most of you are familiar with the concept of customizing your device with a custom skin. If you’re not familiar with custom skins for your smartphone, laptop, or tablet, then this is going to open up a door of endless possibilities and customization options for some of your favorite devices.

One company in particular to checkout is Slickwraps. Slickwraps has a ton of customization options for just about every major flagship smartphone and tablet out there. They even offer skins for gaming consoles like a PS4 and Xbox One.

In this particular case, we are taking a look at the LG G4 and the carbon fiber edition skin. Personally, I think the carbon fiber look is cool and almost better than any of the swappable backplate designs that LG offers for the G4. If you’re like me and think the plastic diamond textured G4 is boring, and you want to spice things up without breaking the bank, then a custom skin is something you might want to check out.

For me, it’s not only about the design, but the ability to have some protection for my phone without a big bulky case. Now, let me preface this by saying the skin will not protect your device from any major drops but, in this case, it’s more about scratches. I am usually pretty careful with my phones. So much so that a case is not usually necessary. I do suffer from the occasional scratch or two that a bare phone will be prone to, and those drive me nuts. I have found that by putting a custom skin on your phone not only does it offer protection against some of those pesky scratches but also gives you a sleek look without sacrificing the overall design and build quality of the device.

Installation is pretty straightforward. I am usually pretty bad at things like this, and I still have not perfected the art of skinning, but that’s usually because I have bad patience and sort of blow through the process. Slickwraps provides installation videos for all devices, and if you follow the easy directions, then you will have no problem. You will also notice during the install process that the skins are remarkably precise and cover each part of the phone perfectly.

If you’re into customizing and want to spice up your smartphone, tablet, or even your MacBook, then head on over to Slickwraps and start customizing.
