How to S-Off the HTC One M8 with Firewater

This video will show you how to use Firewater to gain S-Off on the HTC One M8. You must first have your bootloader unlocked and be rooted. I have a tutorial showing you how to do that here.

Huge shoutout to the developer, be sure to thank them! NOTE: This method may not work, and if it doesn’t you will have to use the Sunshine app. To use the Sunshine app, see here.

adb reboot       <–important!!!!
adb wait-for-device push firewater /data/local/tmp
adb shell
chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/firewater
