Great job with the website. Ease of Access! Good work!

Is there a free wifi hot spot for this phone that you’ve tried other than Foxfi? Foxfi won’t work for some reason. It did at first and then after I bought the foxfi version it stopped. I tried unloading and using the free version but nothing.

I have a broken #1 key that doesn’t allow me to enter download mode (1+power keys). Can I load the cwm- file straight to SD chip then “apply update from sdcard” while in the Android System Recovery mode?

    • Tom says:

BTW, my intention is make a Nandroid copy of my broken phone then reinstall it on an identical phone that I got from my insurance co.

  6. jorge.s says:

Thanks for the tutorial. I followed all of the steps and it seemed to work. Now my phone wont boot. I wiped cache and tried to reboot again, still nothing. Any tips?

I am beyond frustrated right now. The link to

“Download and extract” is dead, and every link that I have googled has installed crap on my computer. PLEASE update this link with something valid. I give up.

Bought the S4 last week, so I thought I’d mess around with my S1. i’d like to try and install JB on it, but thought I’d try rooting it first. I followed the directions and it worked like a charm. Now, I’d like to try to root my S4 just to see if I can successfully use the wifi tethering option (Sprint charges 20/month). Tim, think its something i should try? Thanks for this video!

I followed the instructions on your video to root my Samsung Epic 4G GB27 (already rooted and with Super User installed) to FL24 using the ICS Root SPH-D710 FL24 One-Click. Everything went smoothly but when rebooting the phone screen went frozen displaying the 4G logo screen. Waited for over 20 mins and nothing. What can I do?
