How to Manually Update the Google Nexus 7 to Android 4.2.2

This video will show the necessary steps to update your Google Nexus 7 to the latest Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. You will need to have ADB installed on your PC and also make sure you device is in USB debugging. If you have a custom recovery installed, you SHOULD be able to just put the zip file below onto your internal storage and hit “install zip from sd card” within your custom recovery. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Hopefully this video helps.

    After installing zip file with TWRP, I lost root access and custom recovery. Did you hear of that happening? Will I have to wait for an update to the tool box to 4.2.2 to re root. Thanks…. Rick

    i have a boot loader unlocked, rooted nexus 7 with cmw touch and when i placed the file on my internal storage and flashed it, it came with an error called status 7
