New Google Camera Application in the Play Store

There is now a new Google camera application in the Play Store ready for anyone to download on devices with Android 4.4 KitKat. All Nexus devices have received this update with the updated UI. In the video below I will go over the changes and the main new features.

The newest feature is the Lens Blur effect option on the device. This is very similar to the HTC One M8’s ability to edit images with a lens blur since it has a duo camera. This lens blur option is made to imitate an SLR style picture with a certain image focused and the rest blurred. Overall I do like the new user interface and it seems that Google is moving in the right direction. Let me know what you think.

NOTE: You can also take pictures using the volume button on your device.
